We Make It Easy to Help Others
With a FREE Book pickup, Charity Books raises funds for organizations, while finding new homes for used books, Textbooks, CDs & DVDs . We work with schools, religious groups, libraries and non-profit organizations across the Hampton Roads.
What We Do
Charity Books salvages thousands of books from going unused or dumped into landfills every year. Instead, books that are donated are resold through online-marketplaces to support local non-profits, given to local schools for free or to Union Mission Thrift store to support the homeless. Our streamlined process of collecting, sorting and reselling books allows us to raise the most money for our partners. Our objective is to provide communities with an easy/green alternative to donating their used books, while supporting worthy causes in the local area.

Donation Guidelines
We will accept Books, textbooks, CD's, DVD's, Blue Ray,
​We do not pick up: Magazines, Newspapers, scholarly journals, National Geographic, VHS tapes, and Cassette Tapes.
Donations outside of Virginia Beach, Norfolk and Chesapeake must be 4 boxes or more.
